Hi, my name is Eva!
I’m very fortunate to be here and I can’t wait to tell you my story. When I was first found I did not walk right as there was something wrong with one of my front legs. Instead of the volunteers dismissing my problem and not letting me become a rescue, they decided I was worth a chance. So, I became a rescue and here is where my life started taking giant leaps forward. Soon after I entered the program I was taken to a vet for a full evaluation of my legs. What people thought was a genetic deformity, was actually a physical rod that was placed into one of my leg bones. This rod made my ability to walk normally impossible and I was in constant pain. A vet removed the rod but he was not sure how well I would recover. Well, let me tell you, I not only recovered, but mother nature took such good care of me you would never know I ever had a problem. I walk, run and jump with great ease. I’m actually normal and loving every minute of it! In fact, I am so thrilled with my recovery and my new capabilities that I am known as a really joyful girl. And, I don’t mind adding, I’m really pretty too with a forever happy face. When people see me and hear my story they can’t believe my history.
If you are looking for never ending happiness, then I am your girl. I will shower you with kisses and bring big smiles to your face. Not only will you smile, but you will actually laugh out loud when you see me play. I have a good amount of energy and it doesn’t embarrass me to show you how silly I can be. If your mood of the day is a little down, just call me and I will bring you to new highs. Being petted is one of my favorite activities and, if you are available for belly rubs I want to be first in line. I know my basic commands and enjoy being obedient because it pleases you. Sometimes, however, I will need little reminders about my manners, as I get distracted with playing and having fun with you. You will find I am also familiar with staying in a crate, but when you take me home, please allow me to adjust to your home first before you leave me in it for an extended period of time.
Well, I could go on and on about me, but that would spoil all the fun surprises. When you are selecting your forever companion, just remember my name is EVA!!
