Hello, my name is Sampson!

Sampson is the living version of Marmaduke.  He was left tied up outside of a country western bar and is a bonafide good ole’ boy:  handsome, tall, smart and loyal.  His foster mom calls him “Sammy Double Whammy” because he is a large statured GSD and twice the fun!  When Sampson came to live in a house, he was not sure about the rules but knew he could play and play all day with his foster brother.  Sammy learned within a day to ring the bell to be let outside for potty breaks, to sit and wait for dinner quietly, and where the toys were from his foster brother Chance.  He also learned that slobbering on cats is preferable to chasing them from his foster cat sister Sasha.  Sampson fit into the pack with great ease.  Sampson likes to nap if Chance and his foster humans are close by.  Sampson spends his nights with his foster humans in their bedroom and sleeps through the night, curled up on his bed covered with his Texas flag blanket.

Sampson is all puppy and he loves to cuddle on your lap and have his shoulders massaged.  He is bright and curious about the world.  His foster mom is working on channeling his interest in shoe chewing and trash can scrounging to more positive activities.  Sammy is smart and already knows “sit”, “here”, “off” and “down”.  He is a joy and an easy boy to have around.  His forever family will need to exercise him a lot because he has lots of energy like a GSD puppy should have.  His foster family will be very sad to see him leave but we know that Sammy’s forever family will be blessed with their gentle giant.
