Hello, my name is Tanner!

Tanner is super sweet boy. He was left at an animal shelter by people who claim they found him wandering. Tanner was so upset when they left that it is suspected the people were actually his owners. Poor Tanner couldn’t figure out what was happening so he got very depressed, but he is now on the mend and discovering life is really good when he is surrounded by love. Tanner is learning quickly how life with a loving family works and he strives to make people happy. Obedience training Tanner will go very quickly because he is so attentive and learns quickly. He doesn’t want to do anything that displeases his family. Tanner is very much a social dog and enjoys being involved. He does not want to be an observer in his family, he wants to participate and share all the joys associated with that. Tanner’s loyalty and devotion goes very deep and it’s hard to find a dog with such a strong desire to please. Tanner also doesn’t mind taking time during the day to just lounge and watch. His favorite activity is to supervise his foster family’s gardening from a shady spot nearby. Tanner will make a great companion for someone who will truly love him and involve him in their lives.
