Hello, my name is Zoe!

...and I am a 6 month old, black and tan German Shepherd Dog (GSD) puppy.  In Greek Zoe means "Life" and I'm a lucky dog.  GHGSD Rescue found me and now, even at my very young age, I get to start a brand new life.  So my name takes on a really special meaning.

In my new LIFE, I am a super sweet, young lady.  I'm good with kids and don't mind being hugged and tugged. I get along well with other dogs and cats too.  I know how to leave them alone but I'd be happier if they'd just run and play with me.  Like all GSDs,  I'm super smart, although, in my case it's probably because I watch TV.  In fact, I LOVE to watch TV.  Did you know that you can learn a lot of things, watching TV?  Like how to make your own dog treats, what puppy food is on sale, which flea applications are the best, or at least have the cutest commercials.  Last week, I even learned who shot JR!  =:O

In my new LIFE, I also love to swim.  It's my first and last stop when I go outside to explore.  My foster GSD brother and I have created a game where we hunt frogs together and then herd them into the pool.  (We are both honing our inherent GSD skills.)  Then we watch them swim.  It's a blast!   We never hurt the frogs.  We just keep a watchful eye on them.  Speaking of watching, I am also learning how to be a proper watch dog.  As a proper GSD, I understand that my job is to keep a safe eye on my peeps, but I am never mean nor aggressive.

Since I am a puppy, I have a lot of energy.  The perfect family would be an active one that has plenty of time to spend with me.  Because in my new LIFE, I need that constant attention and companionship that will help me mature into a perfect GSD.

Are you that perfect family that can share this new LIFE with me?  I hope so, because Zoe means "LIFE".
